Firefighting Foam Concentrate

Firefighting Foam is an aggregate of air-filled bubbles formed from aqueous solutions and is lower in density than flammable liquids. Fire Fighting Foam controls the fire by removing Oxygen, cooling the fuel surface and prevents release of vapours. Some of the common foam concentrate types are:

  • Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF)
  • Alcohol Resistant – Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AR-AFFF)
  • Alcohol Resistant – Film Forming Fluoroprotein (AR-FFFP)
  • Alcohol Resistant – Fluorine Free Foam (AR-FFF)
